I'm trying to get my wife's old 80cc Enduro going for my kids. I'm
having carb problems though. Does anyone know of a good web site for
these? Or, anyone have a picture of the carb, showing the hose
routing? It's got 2 very small hoses, off the side and the float bowl,
that seem to go nowhere. Also, it's dumping gas into the engine, and
won't start. I've cleaned the living crap out of the needle and seat.
Replace them?

Remove the float assembly and see if it floats in a jar of fuel.
It may be leaky and needs to be replaced.

I did, the float has no leaks. I also checked the height of the float,
it's correct. Today I changed the valve seat and put in another used
seat I had, and I've got it able to idle for brief periods, so long as
I leave the choke on. As soon as you open the choke, it dies. Also,
as soon as you open the throttle, it dies.

Have you gotten all the fuel out of the cylinder? If its flooding the engine
and fuel is in the bottom of the cylinder it will never start. Take the
cylinder off and tip the bike over to drain the fuel out of the cylinder.
The 2 hoses off the side are overflow's. Clean that cylinder out first then
go on.
Bob
PS put a new plug in too.

So the 2 hoses are just supposed to hang, not connected to anything?
