Good for you, lad! Hopefully you, me and Moike can form our own
peloton on next year's GVBR!

That's just because you haven't fitted lights or a speedo to it
then. Wink

You might find this bloke's blog interesting:

http://istanbultea.typepad.com/largefellaonabike/

He says that he currently weighs 260 pounds (118kg), but that's 240
pounds (109kg) less than when he started.

I especially liked this, from his 20 Nov 2006 entry:

"I regularly pass by this very old Italian guy who 'Speed-Walks'
around our 'hood in sweats & a parka. Nice guy, and he always has a
huge smile, hearty wave, and loud, "Heeeeeey!!! Lovely Night
RIGHT?!?!?" for me when I go by. I dig him. Tonight I rode by him
and he screeched out, "Son of a Bitch!! You sure do like THAT bike,
don't you?? Good for you... keep ridin' son, you're shrinking right
before my eyes!" I greeted him, thanked him... and smiled for at
least 10 miles."

I actually think i have worked it out .....GS has appointment with his
heart specialist next month so maybe he try get fit for 4 weeks then bike
will sit in shed
Then in that case it will become my bike
I very impressed with this bike riding , he went off to work on it this
morning ....Great job GS cos it up hill...
We have a plan i will ride to work in mornings on it and gs ride home on it
.......so it be 5ks each a day which is better than nothing. The only bugger
is the morning trip up hill and the arvo trip down hill.....i lucked out
there but GS well need to take molly to school in mornings so i think the
going up hill is a better deal than getting molly ready for school each
morning

As a friend said to me - if you keep attacking hills, eventually they
give up and lie down.

Zebee
- still attacking Melville St.

Heh...

I did ride the pushy to work and home today. It's up and down both ways
(as the main hill is in the middle) but the homewards side isn't as
steep and doesn't hurt as much Smile

I think we'll have to look around for another push bike now.

Impressive weight loss!

I don't have to lose that much but 30kg would be nice Smile
