I just purchased this bike in the Black and Silver color combo. Does anyone
know of a good place for matching or similiar colored leathers and I also am
looking for some inexpensive exhaust upgrades. Any help would be
appreciated...

Apologies for not being more helpful (I don't have either answer for you),
but you've really got my curiosity going. What is it that you expect an
inexpensive exhaust "upgrade" to do for you that the expensive OEM exhaust
system doesn't?

I, too, have a similar bike, and I'm wondering what I'm missing. Maybe I
should be looking for an "upgrade" too?

To clarify, I am looking to find out what the consensus is on where to get
aftermarket exhausts etc for the best price. Also, I am trying to find a
leather race jacket with the Yamaha color scheme matching the 2005 YZF 600R
black and silver.

Thanks,

Again...

I've got a '97 YZF600R - great bike!
Dont know about the jacket question. I've got a Yosh SR2 slip on exhaust
and like it a lot. It produces a little more power, looks a lot better, and
took a ton of weight off the bike. Good luck with the bike!

First, how much of an ordeal was it install the slip-on. Second, did you
rejet(I was told if you do just a slip-on, you should not have to). I am
planning on going with the Yosh RS-3 Stainless.
