"Oh, hello there, dear. It's Nick Mooney here, I just picked up my
ER-5 from you where you did its 20,000 mile service. Yes, err, did
you spill any oil on the engine or anywhere when you were servicing
it? I mean, it appears to have spewed oil all over my leg on the way
home, you see. And over most of the front of the engine. And over
the front mudguard. And over the crash bars. And over the exhaust."
<sigh>
But they're quite cheap.

Get them to pick it up, sounds like the oil filter is falling off.

I gave it a good grunty turn and it seems pretty solid. I called them
back and they let me speak to the bod that serviced it who confessed
that he did spill some oil when he was servicing it and apologised. He
even named the crash bars and front mudguard before I told him about
them. The oil on my leg wasn't hot (I didn't feel it) so I'll monitor
the oil level over the next few journeys/weeks and see if anything new
appears. I'll also give them the bill for some new 501's.
Bother it.

Given he was that aware, I'd be questioning why the cunt couldn't be arsed
to clean it off at the time of spillage.
Not a good omen in terms of the sort of people you're letting loose on your
bike overall, IMHO

How many miles! - I am looking to purchase a zx636 a1p model 2003 03 plate. It has 15K on the clock. Should i be worried about the mileage it seems high when i look at other bikes. Its up for 4200gbp. The bike is in vgc and will come with 6months warranty. What are you...
price vs miles - Can anyone explain the price vs miles equation. On a CBR 600 with about 12k on the clock a £5k bike seems to depreciate at about £1 for every 2 miles, this would imply that the thing will be worthless after another 10K. I guess what I'm really asking is...
