Part way through stripping down my forks to replace a leaking oil seal. I've
got the spacer, washer, spring out out of the leg, undone the hex head bolt
with the copper washer from the bottom of the leg and drained the oil.
Trouble is the bottom fork tube will still not come off, anyone know why? or
have I missed something simple. Also is there any other good quality oil
apart from yamaha special to replace it with.
Thanks in advance
Bob

Thanks but already used that to undo the hex bolt at the bottom of the fork
leg. I welded a nut onto a piece of round bar to make a tool to get at it.
From experience with other forks I would have expected it to come off now
but the leg seem to be hitting a stop inside.
