1982 gour stroke?

I am going to look at an '82 Yamaha that's for sale later today, but the
listing has very
limited info. It simply says things like:
"Yamaha, four stroke, 1982". And that it is a "light bike"; somwhere between
250 and 500 CC? It also lists "x4r" for a model name/number. But I can't
find ANY info online under this model "name" anywhere for any year
Yamaha...any clues?

I could (I suppose) just wait until I see it, but I'm a little bit like a
kid on X-mas eve right now...

Anyone familiar enough with 1982 Yamaha four strokes to possibly narrow the
field and take a
guess at what model it may actually be?
