According to the 1999 Dennis Kirk catalog, the 1977-79 Yamaha 750 uses
a Yuasa YB14L-A2 12 volt batery. The less expensive battery for this
bike is the RCB14L-A2 battery. The same batteries are used in the
1987-97 Kawasaki EX500. Let us look at the EX500 shop manual. The
battery is specified as a 12 Amp-hour battery.

There you go.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Go check out to <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.yamaha-triples.org/" target="_blank">http://www.yamaha-triples.org/</a> look in the lounge then look
for the mailing list and sign up. Oh yeah the battery in my 1980 xs850
special is an Autocraft model 14FLA2.
