Hi,

Does anyone know of anywhere around Bristol UK that
may sell or have hidden away a 1974ish XL 250 or 350?
I am looking for a resto project, but don't mind how much
work I do (little or lots).

Ta

To be honest your best bet is to advertise in the Bristol "Trade-It" free
newpaper, under the "Motorcycles Wanted" section. I've bought plenty of
bikes and scooters by responses to ads posted by that method and the paper
is read by zillions of people, unlike this newsgroup which is read by no
more than 50 people? (at a guess).

I used to own one of the last of the twin-shock XL250 bikes with the 23
inch front wheel. Brilliant bit of kit. Fond memories ... wish I'd kept it.
