Yea, right. <S> I see those ads all the time and can't imagine that being
possible. I just spent 6 days on the road going to the Honda Hoot and we
got rained on every day. We did have one day that was pretty good and we
were able to ride Deal's Gap and really enjoyed the ride. We ended up
seeing two accidents in the Gap that day. Both riders appeared to be hurt
but not critically. I now know how scenic and fun the Deal's gap area is
and see why they hold the "Hoot" there in Knoxville.

I rode my 03 Busa and my friend rode his 03 Blackbird. We put on
approximately 2000 miles in the six days. The only complaint with the bikes
was that my buddy's Blackbird seat is too soft. He said he will be ordering
a Corbin in the near future. I hadn't ridden the Busa very much in the rain
but it really handled it well. We got off to a slow start the morning we
left with a flat on the Blackbird and my battery on the Busa decided to die
at the bike shop getting the new tire. At least the rest of the trip went
well and most of the Goldwing and VTX owner's were happy to shoot the breeze
with us. We plan to go back and do Deal's Gap one more time before summer
is over because it was so much fun. I recommend it to anyone that hasn't
ridden it.
